I purchased a 2008 Buick Enclave.
My RPM and Speedo needles had ceased lighting up, I discovered. The speedometer's highest number is quite faint.
The dashboard will only stay at one brightness no matter how I adjust the brightness knob or the auto lights. Even with the sensor covered and the lights manually turned on, it won't automatically go to nighttime brightness.
I would assume that the cluster itself is the problem. Probably because the leds on the needles aren't working. I'm hoping that someone else has experienced this problem and can tell me what the reason is.
