When I push the start button on my washer, nothing happens. I recently dismantled it down to the frame to give it a thorough cleaning. The control board did become wet, but it was quickly dry. Before I dismantled it, everything was in working order. All of the relays operate when I run a diagnostic test. E-31 and E-5e are the error codes I'm getting. I'm able to run the motor.

Based on the information you gave, the control board appears to be defective and will need to be repaired. The codes you supplied are for a problem with communication.
