Intake is being installed in my 2007 Lexus IS250. Lexus upgraded the ECU as a result of the shifting. Will the ECU get corrupt again if I install the Joe Z intake and reset it? According to my understanding, the ECU regulates shifting. Can someone provide me the specifics?
According to my theory, Lexus flashed the ecu to force a reset to the new setting. or anything similar, if you understand what I mean. Anyway, please help.
