| I have a mazda 5(Mazda Premacy 2007) I have replaced the Engine, gearbox and the TCM, but I keep getting the P2709 (shift solenoid f electrical) keeps popping up with the check engine.. The car seems to be stuck in 3rd gear. I've changed the TCM LF2L 18 9E1G but I keep having the same problem. Kindly help. Thanks Attachment : 2007 mazda 5 TCM.png | |||||

| The image above for the pinout of the mazda TCM Wiring Harness appears to be incorrect for my model.I have 2010 mazda 3 and there is no wire occupying pin 9 (Ground: X (Black)Also pins 4 and 6 are not Power: I, O for this model.Can you provide the correct pin outs for this model? | This is a commonly known issue with this TCM. If you have a scan tool that can communicate and read codes from the TCM pull those codes and compare it with the codes we state we can fix on the service repair page. Checking the transmission fluid and filter for any dirty contaminants is an important step as well. I'll include a link to the service repair page below: | |||||

| if your vehicle does indeed have a TCM it will be mounted on top of the transmission. The image you provided is the ECU. Your TCM part number should begin with either LF8M or LFJE. If you confirm the issues you're having with your TCM match what we can repair go ahead and send in the TCM, not the ECU. | |||||

| It would most certainly help to get the TCM scanned and see if the codes match what we advertise we can repair on our website. Chances are if the TCM hasn't been rebuilt yet, I would highly recommend starting there first. Also, checking transmission fluids and filters is another important step as this transmission can detect bad transmission fluids.
