2008 Mazda 3 The TCM was working fine, until about a week ago. I get a hard shift from gears going into 4th and 5th. Reverse is a really hard shift. No check engine light, but the AT light is back.

This is a commonly known issue with this TCM. If you have a scan tool that can communicate and read codes from the TCM pull those codes and compare it with the codes we state we can fix on the service repair page. Checking the transmission fluid and filter for any dirty contaminants is an important step as well. I'll include a link to the service repair page below:
