powerflex 4m controlling 1hp motor issue

We have a powerflex 4m controlling 1hp motor. Instead of putting out 230v from a 230v source. The controller is producing avg 330v on our voltmeter while it shows 230v output on the powerflex itself. Do you have a sense of the cost to powerflex 4m controlling 1hp motorit? Is this a common issue? Thanks

This is not a common issue with VFDs. They should not be able to have a higher output rating than what they are rated for, as the components inside limit this function. If it is rated for this and is what the device is saying 230V, then I would check the meter itself. If the meter is good, then it would need to be repaired. Most likely the output circuitry needs to be rebuilt. The repair cost is about $245.
