GE built in oven control panel

Mulvad

I own a GE built in oven PN: JTP18WD1WW.
A few days ago the start and clear/stop buttons were not working without any fault codes coming from the oven.
As you know the unit has a circuit board and a control panel, I don't know if the problem is in the circuit board or the control panel. Are you capable of knowing and fixing both?
I have attached photos for your reference. If you need any further information or photos please let me know.

There are a couple of visual issues that we can see while looking at the board. The first will be bad capacitors. This can easily cause your issues and needs to be repaired.

In addition, the ribbon cable appears to be dirty. This is also something that needs to be addressed. with the ribbon cable, you would need to remove it from the board and clean it with alcohol. Avoid using any harsh chemicals, as this will permanently cause the keypad to stop working. After it is cleaned, the keypad may work for a little longer to delay the repair that is needed, but we would highly suggest having it repaired due to the other faulty components.

If you would like us to repair this for you, then I have included a link below to get started. If you send in the keypad and board together, then we can have a look and fully test the operations of keys and other features for this oven.
