Mercury Mariner 2012. The automobile came to a halt. I've been to the mechanic. He suggests unplugging the PCM connector nearest to the passenger side and smelling for a burned odor, which is an apparent symptom of PCM corrosion. Can you fix my PCM or do I need to buy one?
