The washer won't spin. The motor is receiving electricity. When I rotated the dial to where the test suggested looking for a spin, I got an E5E error. Is replacing boards my only option?

Make sure there are no loose connections or damaged cables. If they're fine, the problem appears to be with the motor. Is it accurate that the motor has electricity but does not work? The motor control unit is not interacting with the main control panel if the motor works but does not spin, just tumbles. If this is the case, ensure sure the door lock is in good working order and that the motor control is transferring power to the motor during the spin cycle.
