My Affinity washer isn't working properly. The error code that shows is E5E. This implies that there is a problem with the connection between the control board and the motor board. There are no hanging wires to be seen. So, what could possibly be the issue here?

If you don't see 120 volts at two wires coming from the mainboard during the spin cycle, it's either faulty or a wire is broken. You've got a faulty speed control if there's power down there but nothing spins.
