My 2001 BMW M5's speed and rpm gauges sometimes stay on 80 km/h for a long time before dropping to 50, and the same is true of the rpm gauge. The oil temperature gauge is always at zero, and the water temperature gauge is at zero as well. When the car is at idle, the 1/4 fuel gauge indicates a quart tank, and the car runs out of gas.
