MY instrument cluster will intermittently go crazy, the needles will move erratically, sweeping left to right making no sense. Also the Odometer display will sometimes go blank and then come back and show the mileage. Most of the time it works normally. This usually happens while driving on the highway. Can this be fixed? I feel like sometimes i can smack the dashboard and it "fixes" it. I have checked all plugs its not loose in anyway. Something must be going on with the cluster itself.

can you confirm that the repaired cluster will work without having to bring the car to a dealer to sync them? This is the cars original cluster i would be looking to repair. Thanks!

Yes for sure, repaired cluster does not need to go to dealership if it is going back into the same vehicle that it came out of.
