I have a 2006 BMW X5 with a strange temperature control problem.
When utilizing the A/C, the climate control unit would randomly shut down and then switch again on a few seconds later. So far, this has occurred when the temperature control unit is set to AUTO, regardless of whether the AUTO fan speed is set to mild, medium, or intense.
Could this be the result of a faulty final stage resistor or blower motor, or something else different?
Any assistance is much appreciated.
