I own a 1999 Toyota 4Runner Limited. For the last several months, when I switch on the ignition, the temperature control attempts to boot up but occasionally flashes on and off and does not operate until I turn the key off and then back on. If it doesn't work, I can hold the "off" and "mode" buttons under the display simultaneously for a few minutes, which works after a few minutes. It starts up properly and works good every now and then, but the problem is unpredictable.
Are there any wizards out there that can provide a recommendation or can fix this issue?
