My 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee TIPM is only reporting 9 volts. I tested the high current fuses, and they are OK. All of the electric components function to some extent, but items that use a lot of electricity, such as settings and motorized windows, move extremely slowly.
Has anyone ever had a situation like this? Any ideas as to what it may be? I don't know what to examine, but the loud thud I heard seems to indicate that something electrical has exploded. What I also don't get is why the TIPM is getting so little voltage when it has a very substantial wire that runs directly to the battery. One of my other hypotheses is that something has opened a circuit and is grounding the electricity.
We would appreciate any guidance or assistance.
Thanks
