Soft reset procedure after re-intallation

Soft Reset 

Please perform this procedure first after re-installing your refurbished TIPM and before starting your vehicle for the first time. 

Note: If you still see weird warning lights on your instrument panel cluster (IPC) perform the same soft reset procedure several more times. 

For Vehicles with a Key:

Step 1: Insert Key

Step 2: Turn the Key to the "ON" position (Don't start the vehicle just yet)

Step 3: Have the key in the "ON" position for 120 seconds, then turn off and remove the key. 

Step 4: Start the vehicle

For Vehicles with Push-Start:

Step 1: Push the "Start" button 2x to turn the ignition on (Don't start the vehicle just yet or apply your foot to the brake pedal

Step 2: With the vehicle in the "ON" position, wait for 120 seconds

Step 3: Push the "Start" button once again to turn the vehicle off.

Step 4: Start the vehicle
