It took a week and several calls to the service manager and Chrysler customer support before they finally looked at the vehicle and explained what was wrong with my 2015 JKU after it died on me as I was driving home. The TIPM is the offender. The dealership claims that several Jeep Wranglers and other models had a defective badge placed, causing them to stop and lose their starting power.
I'm wondering if anyone else who has an 11 is having the same problem. Or does anyone know whether a TIPM from an older Jeep can be swapped in and simply flashed?
