I had my 2010 JK towed to the neighborhood Jeep dealer, then I took a rental car home. I'm not sure why they would need to touch the TIPM when there were no codes shown on the dash when I dropped it off.
Does anyone know if changing the starter involves anything TIPM-related? When I called the dealer to ask about it, his response ranged from "mumble mumble larger tires" to "I warned you that there may be more items necessary to restore your Jeep," but he was never able to provide me with any specifics on touching the TIPM with a starter.
Any guidance would be great. Thanks.
