ASSIST ME PLEASE....... My 2007 Jeep Wrangler's tipm has to be replaced, but the Jeep store has told me that it would be 3 more weeks before a new one is delivered, and I've already waited 2 weeks. One from a salvage yard, according to them, won't function since it needs to be brand new and programmed with the vin number. I discovered a used one with the same year and options at the salvage yard, so I don't see why it wouldn't operate. Anyone who knows whether it can or not? or someone who has used one from a junkyard
