My 2011 Jeep Liberty has essentially broken down twice while driving. No warning or lighting. Nothing unusual is occurring; it simply passes away. It cranks and the accessories come on, but the engine won't start. Each time, I've blown the M19 fuse. The second time, it died when I was on the freeway. On the side of the road, we twice attempted to replace the fuse, but each time it blew.
Google has led me to discussions that identify the TIPM (fuse box) as the root of the problem.
I'm scrambling to find out more information. since the dealer claims that all that is wrong is the fuse. As far as they are concerned, the matter is resolved because they replaced it and it hasn't tripped. Could you fix my TIPM?
