Mazda3 @ Mazda5 TCM part # Question

Jibran

Needing to know what's the difference from L32E and any others like K, A or any other letter on the upper part ABOVE the serial number ..... On the TCM I have, the dealership said the "D" on the TCM ( L32E-189-E1D ) was the latest model... But I've also seen HIGHER letters other than "D". Like F, G, K and up..... So, what makes the difference.??

The last letter in the part number is the revision number from the manufacturer. L32E should go up to H but simply buying a used TCM with the latest letter may not resolve the issue if the hardware has already failed. If you get your original refurbished which we recommend, we would ensure hardware issues are corrected and the software matches based on your VIN to ensure functionality of the TCM.
