When submitting a request for a repair it asks what error codes the TCM is throwing. What if I don't know all the codes? Are you still able to diagnose and referb it completely? Or do I need to know all that info first? We had it to a shop and they confirmed this is in fact the problem.
Thanks!
After you have it scanned, post the DTC codes here.
When you have codes it is easier to determine where the problem is
You can check for codes for free at you local autoparts store . What year and model is your car and what symptoms is your car having ? Exept for TCM light
I understand that completely, but I am not paying that shop another 100$ to ask them to plug it back in to tell me what codes its throwing. That is why I asked this question. Do I just select every option when submitting my request to send in my part for repair where I don't know exactly where the problem is? Thanks for your help!
We have the part out of the car and ready to ship.

Problems are- It is hard shifting to reverse and drive modes and then getting stuck in 3rd gear, check engine light and AT lights both on.
