My 2001 Audi A6 is experiencing gearbox issues. When I drove too quickly on bends or pressed too hard on the brakes, or when the car was parked on an uneven surface, the gearbox became stuck in low gear and refused to shift up. But when I restarted the engine, the issue was GONE! I brought it to a dealer a few years back to have the transmission fluid drained. However, it did not address the problem... They want to replace the TCM module, which is rather expensive. My automobile has 110K miles on it and is in excellent condition, and I am not ready to let it go... Any advise would be much appreciated:)
