Our freezer has only gone to around 15 or 20 degrees Fahrenheit before returning to freezing -1. This happens every three days or so. Things thaw as the ice melts, and finally everything returns to normal. Is the fridge having the same problem at the same time? The repair guy told me that i got a faulty board

Sounds that the main control board in the device is defective and UpFix can fix control boards. Here is the service link.
