My refrigerator's water dispenser is broken. Is it possible that it's a shutdown valve? or will it be caused by the main board?

You should test the water valve to ensure that it is receiving 120 volts. The primary control board will very certainly be the source of the problem. We can rebuild faulty control board modules, here is the link https://www.upfix.com/product-category/appliances/refrigerator/
