My ice machine stopped working, so I purchased a replacement, but there is still no ice after I fitted it. I completed the self-test turned on the ice maker and retracted the arm three times; it seemed to work OK and double-checked that it was filled with water, which it was. Does the ice maker attach directly to the main circuit board, as my query implies? Is there a separate circuit board for the ice machine that links to the main circuit board?
Although the icemaker has its own control board, it is linked to the main control board. The main control board would be the issue with the machine not ejecting the ice now that the icemaker has been replaced and filled with water. We can rebuild faulty control board modules, here is the link https://www.upfix.com/product-category/appliances/refrigerator/
