My refrigerator is a GE model. Our issue was with only the internal lights in the refrigerator portion flashing. The balance in the refrigerator looks to be operating well.

The primary control would have to be accessible and DC voltage checked. A continuous 12-14VDC should be present. If there isn't, the primary control has malfunctioned. If there is, one of the LEDs has shorted, and it must be determined which one has failed. We can rebuild faulty control board modules, here is the link
