LG part # 3211JJ2001A
The main control board in the back of fridge was causing everything to freeze in refrigerator/fresh food section. It was also causing door board/UI to beep and not respond when button were pressed.
I replaced it and the ui worked for me to set the temperature and lock and unlock control. A few days later now and it won't respond to buttons again and beeps randomly. If you unplug the fridge, wait, and plug it back in it will be responsive for a minute or two and then no response when you press buttons. Is this a common issue when this board is failing?

Thank you for reaching out. The temperature control thermostat directs voltage to the compressor, evaporator fan motor, and condenser fan motor (if applicable). If the temperature control thermostat is not working properly, it may cause the refrigerant system to run longer than necessary. As a result, the refrigerator will be too cold. To determine if the thermostat is defective, rotate the thermostat from the lowest setting to the highest setting and listen for a click. If the thermostat clicks, it is not likely defective. If the thermostat does not click, use a multimeter to test the thermostat for continuity. If the temperature control thermostat does not have continuity at any setting, replace it. If everything checks out then the issue could be your board. Below I have provided a link that can get you started in the process. If you have any questions feel free to reach out.
