My GE refrigerator, is making a roaring sound. I've seen on several websites that fixing the control board would solve this issue.

UpFix does fix control boards that resolve a power supply problem with the evaporator fan motor, which is the source of the roaring noise. Here is a service link https://www.upfix.com/product-category/appliances/refrigerator/
