We noticed last week that when we opened the refrigerator door, the light didn't always come on, and the temperature inside wasn't as frigid. When I tried to change the temperature, the temperature panel displayed a "error." The freezer side appeared to be in good working order throughout the process. Is this a problem with the control board?

A defective main control board of the appliance is most likely to blame for this problem. We repair failed control boards, here is the link https://www.upfix.com/product-category/appliances/refrigerator/
