GE refrigerator doesn't make ice, but it does leaking water

 

The GE refrigerator sometimes doesn't make ice, but it does leak water. Is this a control board problem?

When the ice bin is removed, the door switch is taped shut, and the ice is attempted to be dispensed, the auger motor should be checked for 120VAC at the beige wire. If the voltage is 120 volts, the auger motor has failed and must be replaced.   If there is no 120VAC, the main control board must be checked by connecting pin 1 of the connector J7 to the ground while the ice is being poured. The primary control has failed if there is no 120VAC. And also check all wires for bad wire or loose connection. After checking everything and all looks good. But you still have the same problem, then the control board is most likely faulty. We can repair faulty control boards. Here is a link
