We have a Whirlpool oven model wfe540h0ew0. The oven will not get past 205 degrees. I replaced the sensor but it still will not get hotter than 205 degrees. Is this a circuit board issue? There are no error codes. And can you repair this problem? I believe the circuit board part number is wpw10586735
Thank you for reaching out. Changing the sensor was a good decision. The issue could be either the board, heating element, or the keypad. If you can confirm that the issue is the board then, we can service it. Turn on the oven and take a look at the heating element. If portions of the heating element don't glow red then replace it. The keypad is known to go bad and give false symptoms similar to the issues you are having now. A button is stuck and won't allow the desired function, It then goes into a fail-safe to keep other components from being damaged.
I recommend checking the heating element first and then, sending in the board. We will do a full rebuild on it and test it to ensure it's working properly before we send it back out. If the same issue persists after the repair then, the keypad will need to be replaced. If you have any questions feel free to reach out. Thank you
