I recently sent a control board in for repair, but sadly it couldn't be fixed since the IC on the board was fried, and your technicians couldn't find the programming. I recently purchased a used board that turns on but has an F1 error code; can I send both in so your technicians may obtain the programming from the "new" board in addition to repairing it?

Yes, this is something that can be worked out. Please send both units.
