Kenmore Range/Stove/Oven Control Board

Neither bake nor broil elements work. I did send the control board away to be repaired to another service but with no change - I am getting 120Volts on both sides to the top and bottom elements but no heat on either. The elements were removed and they passed all continuity tests. The temperature sensor passes continuity tests but was replace anyway. The high limit thermostat passes continuity tests.

Can it be the control board? Should I send to you and have it repaired again? Other firm says it must be elements as they are receiving power so control board is good. Are there any tests you recommend to isolate the issue as the control board?

I did test voltage on board
E9/E2 - 120
E7/E2 - 120
E9/E2 - 120
E6/E2 - 120

Bake Right Element and E2 - 120
Bake Left Element and E2 - 120

Broil Right Element and E2 - 120
Broil Left Element and E2 - 120

I appreciate any advice as I am stumped

The first thing I would think of is the elements. We were able to fully test this unit and it cooked with an accurate temperature. Did you try a continuity test from the Bake and Broil connections on the board to the element itself? If those wires are good, I would say the elements need to be replaced. They should measure between 20-115 ohms (give or take).

The other thing I would check is the thermostat. This should not pass a continuity test as this needs to read close to 1100 ohms. There should be no beeping from the meter. Measure this in the ohms setting to make sure it measures 1100 at room temperature. If it does not, then it needs to be replaced.

Let me know what you find and if there is anything else I can help you with.

Thank you.
