Your repaired Jenn-Air oven control board arrived safely via FedEx this afternoon, and I reinstalled it in our over/under double oven this evening. As I mounted the board I noticed the two replaced (blue) power relays and the cleaned up solder work on the underside of the circuit board. It all looked excellent!
Unfortunately we are pretty much back to where we started. The lower oven works correctly, but when I attempt to set the upper oven, it will initially start up normally on any function (bake, broil, clean, etc.), but about five seconds after I select the desired temperature, the control panel beeps and shows an F5 error code. I copied the factory error code sheet for you which is the second attachment
Do you have any suggestions on how to proceed with this "Power to element relays disabled in cook mode" error indication. With the relays replaced I would hope that the problem had been fixed. There is another, more complicated, circuit board on the right side of the overhead compartment with two ribbon cables that feed the front panel display and the associated touch controls. Is there anything on that board that I should examine to check for component failures?
Thanks again for your good work and fast turnaround time on my Jenn-Air oven control board repair.

Thank you for getting back to us. Make sure you get connectivity to the heating element. as far as the burners, you should inspect all wires and voltage to the burning elements to ensure that no lines are damaged or got loose connections. It doesn't seem like the control board at this point But there is a 1% that it is a control board. The problem that the oven is referring to is the meat probe that can be inserted into the receptacle on the sidewall inside your oven.
Open the oven door which has the meat probe jack inside and turn the circuit breaker off to the oven. Try to clean out the meat probe jack with white vinegar and a Q-tip in case the oil has worked its way inside. Allow the jack to dry out and then flip the circuit breaker back on. If the "PRB" light continues to come on, you'll need to order and replace the probe receptacle because it has failed thinks that the probe is plugged in when it's not. We can take a look at the other board and test the board and the unit still inside the oven.\stove.
Your unit is still under warranty. We can take another look at the unit we serviced and the extra board to help isolate the issue. Hop this helps. Please let us know. We appreciate your time and patience.
