My oven is a GE. We tried to use the oven after self-cleaning it, and a puff of smoke appeared from the back of it. All of the electronics went dark. However, if I turn on a burner, the time will come on; however, the burners will not heat up, and the oven will not turn on. Did it burn the main control board? if yes can it be fixed or i need to buy a new one?

You'll have to check the buttons to determine whether they're broken. Also, inspect all of the wirings to ensure it is not tangled or damaged. After checking everything and all looks good. But you still have the same problem, then the control board is most likely faulty. We can repair faulty control boards.
