As I removed the covering to change the oven lamp, the lighting component cables came into contact with the oven. The control systems have stopped working after a popping sound. Not sure what i can do next

A fuse is sometimes used to protect the main boards. You'll need to remove the board and check to see whether it has a fuse, which you'll need to replace if it's blown. After checking everything and all looks good. But you still have the same problem, then control board is most likely faulty. We can repair faulty control boards.
