I have a ~2008 vintage Whirlpool RBD305PRS00 double oven.
It is intermittently throwing the E6 F2 error code. Operational symptoms are a blank display and non-functional oven. The oven beeps when control buttons are pressed, but does not respond. Most of the time, the oven works okay.
From what I have researched, the 8303883 control board is suspect.
I’m interested in having you evaluate/repair it.
Do you have instructions available to get the control board out of the oven?
What should I be returning? That is, what comes out? Is the display part of it? Is there a plastic chassis that the board mounts to? Are the touch controls part of it?
Thank you for reaching out. This does look like something that we service, depending on your issue. Below I have provided a link that can get you started on the ordering process. The link will let you know what issue will be covered under the repair. Any issues outside of the advertised will not be addressed. Typically, we would need the relay board (photo in link) however, your unit may come with a sister board. You can send in both and we will only charge what we repair.
A full diagnostic check should first be performed to eliminate all other possible causes for your symptoms, even if the symptoms match those specified on the common fault description. If you are not sure that this part is the cause of the fault then we recommend that you do not go ahead with this purchase and instead seek further professional advice and diagnosis. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out. We look forward to working with you.
