06 Escapes are caused by faulty coil driver modules in the PCM. P035x codes indicate that no signal is reaching the coil. That indicates a fairly typical problem on 05-06 Escapes, namely defective coil driver modules in the PCM. The vendor is asking $2200 to repair this. The PCM alone costs $1300 when new. The dealer wants $80 for a coil, and plugs are $12...plus work to install and configure the PCM. I'll need new spark plugs as well as a rebuilt PCM. Can you assist me?
