I think the logic portion of my 2003 Lesabre cluster is causing PCM problems. Turn the key barely a 16th of an inch and the PRNDL light comes on and the fuel pump primes. No other power to anything! Then continue to turn the key to the ON/RUN position, all the lights come on like they should and the fuel pump primes again like its supposed to.
Certain electronics turning on before even fully turning the key could indicate an issue with the ignition module itself. As for the vehicle intermittently stalling, are you getting any trouble codes? if so, what are they? In regards to this Buick LeSabre cluster, these are not VIN encoded so it shouldn't cause a no-start or immobilizer issue. However, these are known to have lighting issues and parasitic battery draw.
