If after you receive your rebuilt power steering module you still have the B2000:00 or B2000:49 DTC or Steering Defective message on the instrument, please ensure to perform a calibration procedure with a good OBDII scan tool. VCDS or ODIS are recommended but any bi-directional OBDII scan tool should be able to perform that procedure.

2. If you're OBDII scan tool is bi-directional, perform a recalibration in-vehicle step-by-step to ensure the power steering module and power steering rack are functioning correctly.
3. If Steps 1-3 do not help, plug in an OBDII scan tool and identify which codes you're still getting. Let us know what those exact codes (DTCs) are so we can assist you further.
