2006 Grand Marquis, all lights function properly. Lcm buzzes continuously when light switch is in auto and off positions, it stops buzzing when switch is moved to parking lights or headlights on. It continues to buzz when the ignition is on and whether the key is in the ignition on not. Is this something you have encountered before and is this something your service will address?

There is a speaker built into the LCM for that year, make, and model. There may be a wiring issue, a faulty switch, or an open circuit inside the LCM itself. The relays inside the LCM eventually fail and can cause battery drain or prevent certain functions from turning off if a relay is stuck on 'on'. For peace of mind, you can get your LCM refurbished knowing that all the relays inside will be replaced. However, if there is also a wiring or switch issue, those functions would need to be tested and replaced as well if necessary.
