I recently acquired an instrument cluster for a 2015 Tacoma on eBay to complete the LED MOD, and it stated that the mileage would begin at 00000. Is the original mileage saved on a computer that the stealership may use to compare odometer readings for accuracy? My concern is that I will be required to have warranty service done on my Taco, and they will discover contradicting mileage records. I guess what I'm asking is, is the mileage saved somewhere other than the odometer housing? Could you please correct it?
