Washing machine will not spin E56 error

I receive an E56 error message. The washing machine will not spin. When counting, I observe that the clock is moving too slowly. When it reaches 1, it simply stands there until it is turned off. Is it possible that the control board is the issue?

The error code "E56" indicates a high motor current. This might indicate a problem with your motor or speed control board. If you're seeing that error code, it's possible that there's a communication problem inside the appliance. I'd recommend resetting your washer to clear any bogus error codes. Unplugging the power cable or turning off the household circuit breaker for 10 minutes will reset the appliance. After checking everything and all looks good. But you still have the same problem, then the control board is most likely faulty. We can repair faulty control boards.
