The washer has suddenly stopped running and appears to be stuck . I disconnected it and waited before reconnecting it. Nothing happened. Is there anything I can do to resolve this problem?

Check to see if the valve is in good functioning order. If this is the case, you'll need to repair the unit's primary control board. Here is a link
