My frigidaire washer After selecting a cycle, the time display changes to LOC and alternates between the two displays. How do I clear the panel so that I can focus on the underlying issue? It didn't help to unplug it. The Drain/Spin Cycle was the source of the problem. It stayed still for about 10 minutes, then went into a leisurely spin about four minutes before shutting off, leaving soaked garments.

Switching to LOC with the unit display showing the time would be a problem with the control board. Because the LOC indicates that the control panel is locked, you should double-check that it is not locked and, if it is, repairs the control board.
