The washer has been producing a noise when in the spin cycle and has had to be tricked into starting the spin cycle by turning off and on again. The pump went on last night in the middle of the night without anyone being near it or operating it; it now operates continually until it is disconnected. Resetting the machine (raising the lid six times) had no effect. The top two LEDs were illuminated when I plugged it in, but after pressing stuck relays on the mainboard , the LEDs now flash continually when I put it in, but the pump continues to operate with the selection off or on.
A Main control board for the Washer is most likely to blame for this problem. We repair failed control boards, here is the link https://www.upfix.com/product-category/appliances/washing-machine/
