Our washer gives e58 is the error code. The washer will not spin.

The E58 code indicates that the control has detected a large amount of motor current. Unplugging the washer and releasing the belt from the motor is the first step in troubleshooting that problem number. The motor pulley should be spinning. Replace the motor if it does not spin freely.
