Our washing machine broke down. The error code is e44. Wiring has been examined. It states that the control board must be replaced, but which one should be repaired? Is it the main control board or the one behind the control panel beneath the top cover?

The error number "E44" indicates an issue with the board's communications. Most likely, the main control board is malfunctioning. We can rebuild faulty control board modules, here is the link https://www.upfix.com/product-category/appliances/washing-machine/
