The error code I'm getting is E6F. There appears to be no mention of this elsewhere. According to one online answer, the main controller board was defective. What are your opinions on the matter?

This isn't a recognized error code, although it does indicate a malfunctioning electrical control. Of course, as with any electrically controlled appliance, all connections should be double-checked by disconnecting and reconnecting each connector one by one to verify the problem isn't caused by a "communication mistake" between the boards. After checking everything and all looks good. But you still have the same problem, then the control board is most likely faulty. We can repair faulty control boards.
